Leader Letters: Leading with Love
When my team confessed they re-read my letters during their darkest leadership moments, I realized these weren't just words, they were a different way of leading entirely.
So, how did we get here?
Ever re-read a note that changed everything for you? That's how my journey began - writing letters to my team leaders that, unexpectedly, became their compass during stormy leadership moments.
What started as my own therapeutic practice - capturing philosophical musings and vulnerable reflections during my leadership challenges, evolved into something more profound when they confessed how often they returned to these letters during their toughest days.
The revelation stopped me in my tracks.
These weren't just words on paper; they were lifelines during leadership whitewater. When I stopped writing them, their absence was felt.
So here we are. After letting this idea simmer, publishing a few trials on LinkedIn, and completing a #100dayChallenge on IG, I'm sharing these insights with you - both in bite-sized reflections and deeper dives.
Fair warning: I'm going to challenge you to inspect your thinking patterns and invite you to examine leadership through a lens of love and authenticity. If that makes you squirm, this might not be your space. But if you welcome a challenge, I welcome you!
